Marcelino's on exchange Street in Providence, Rhode Island located on the ground floor of the Omni Providence is a cozy speakeasy style bar serving light bites and Mediterranean style faire. Service is friendly but at a very slow pace as you are meant to enjoy yourself in a carefree setting. The Sazerac Cocktail is absolutely amazing as is the Vieux Carre. I recommend Marcelino's as a great place to hang out with friends go on a nice date night.

Great spot to hangout and get a drink like no where else in the city. We sat at the bar and watched what looked to be a science lab project. The drinks are small and refreshing. The drinks are very good and very unique. I tried the Basil and it was balanced to perfection. It had just the right amount of everything to not be overpowered by the rum, the chartreuse, or the Basil. I couldn't tell that it had rum in the drink so if you're on the fence because of the Rum, don't let that steer you away. The watermelon rhubarb drink was on a whole different level...a touch of sweet, touch of sour and balanced off the subtle silkiness of the feta foam. I was turned off by the sound of feta in my drink, but it actually made the drink complete. Great spot for nightcap, just starting out the night, or hanging out in one of the private rooms with friends.

Simply can't wait to have a reason to go back. From the outside, this place appears closed. Upon opening the door and walking beyond the black drapery, you are dazzled by the chic, low lighting and velvet seats. We chose to sit at the bar and ordered dessert, cocktails, and a glass of prosecco each. The hostess and bartender were attentive and friendly. We spent about 2 hours here chatting the evening away. It appeared that one of the groups that was sitting a table was celebrating a birthday (I just may have to do the same!). Since it was a Monday night, everyone in the bar was fairly spread out and made the space feel private and exclusive.

100000% need to stop by when you are in Providence! From the ambience to the service to the drinks, everything was a 10/10. Even though we were a group of 8, we were sat and served quickly. The music and the lights make it a great stop for a night cap. The drinks are very well rounded and creative. Our favorites included the cardamom/coffee, oregano/tomato, cilantro/quince. Will stop by the next time we are in RI

One of my favorite bars of all time because of their creativity with ingredients and attention to detail, which creates uniquely memorable drinking experiences . The same attention to detail is given to the dimly lit ambiance with lots of drapery and music (live jazz trio one time I went) that transports you across the world to a snazzy upscale bazaar. Service has also always been 10/10. My favorite drink and recommendation for men is their spin on the old fashioned called Baklava. For women or anyone with a more secure sense of masculinity than me, I can't recommend the Strawberry drink enough. You can really taste fresh strawberries in it and the dried strawberry crisp on top is a great touch showcasing their attention to detail and respect for ingredients to create memorable experiences. Food-wise nothing's super memorable (makes sense since this is a bar), but everything has been very tasty. Extra points because you don't often get this combination of middle eastern food and great artisan drinks. My favorite was the Armenian Flatbread, with the chicken baklava rolls being a close second. The latter I feel like needs explanation, since it can be confusing to understand the concept based on the name. It's more of a chicken spring roll in a flaky pastry wrapping (a la baklava) - delicious but they only serve two rolls. The mezze trio is also a great option for soaking up some of the stronger spirits if you go for multiple rounds.

Last night found this spot while trying to find a bar to grab a fancy drink for my birthday. Parking was easily accessible since its right near the mall! We walked up and it almost looked closed until I show the host by the door inside. We walked in and it was dimmed lighting and smelled amazing! We were greeted by a very attractive host. We let him know we were just grabbing drinks and were brought to seating across from the bar. The cocktail menu was very extensive. Alot of popular well known options and some that were some you could only imagine or not even make up yourself! I had a gin lavender drink was very good! Then we ended night with a espresso martini. It looked great but the drink wasn't anything more than espresso foam. Was highly disappointing! Although the espresso martini was a let down. And I probably myself should've spoken up about it. I would come here for date night and will come back!

Came in with a group of friends and very impressed. It's pricey but definitely a vibe! The cocktails were all fabulous. We also got the chicken baklava which is like an egg roll. The staff was amazing! I didn't take photos but the bathrooms are super cute and there are bar-hooks for sweaters/coats/purses. Overall a wonderful couple hours!!

This dimly lit bar is such an experience! With events including live music & updated cocktail menus, the team actively puts their soul into crafting works of art to serve their customers. We recently tried the new summer menu which had an espresso cardamom foam on one of the drinks which was so unique. We love the espresso martinis, which are one of our favorites in RI with a great sweetness & lovely foam.

This is an update! I went back twice last week on Thursday for jazz night and then brought two friends Saturday to try it out! When I went Thursday I got 3 different drinks from the seasonal menu to try "flowers" "Palo santo & honey" "beets with goat cheese foam" Flowers was almost like having a spritzer and smelled like walking through a flower field Palo santo - had green tea foam on top which gives off a kind of bitter taste but I liked it with the drink. Beets - I love beets so I had to try it, if u don't like beets dnt bother trying this because it is very earthy and beet forward, the goat cheese goes very well with this drink. The only thing I wish they would do is make a "olive tray" like something a little less pricey for people to pick at which drinking. Their food is very good but sometimes people don't want anything but to snack on so a smaller option for a charcuterie or olive tray would be nice for a cheaper price. I did notice the prices went up $1-$2 per drink from when I was last there is September 2023, they are amazing drinks and it is an experience for sure but if the prices keep rising and not the drink size I don't know how this place will remain. I also wish they had more drink options that aren't so totally out there, I love that they experiment and can come up with different drinks but some people do like a more simpler drink menu with things they may know. I was hoping the winter drinks would have had something with maybe cranberry or cider or something but it was all very out there and different, and even tho I enjoyed my drinks I looked around the room and noticed most people just order a standard drink there, wine, gin and tonic, whiskey.... Didn't see many of the menu drinks at tables and it's probably because of how strange some may sound. And to spend $17 on a drink u may not care for..... i dont know Service is fabulous as always!
